Fermented Herb Extract (FHE)

FHE is made from carefully selected organic herbs, natural multimicrobial preparations and organic sugar cane molasses using a gentle fermentation process.

It is added to the cows’ feed and is suitable for calves and heifers, as well as beef and dairy cattle.

In the slurry, FHE binds ammonia, reduces rot bacteria and promotes nutrients.

Udder disease (mastitis) in cows

Mastitis can be caused by a number of factors. Alongside a healthy immune system, the best protection is provided by barn and milk hygiene measures.

Regularly adding the probiotic feed supplement FHE to the cattle feed supports the animals’ immune system and reduces the number of pathogenic bacteria in the excrement.

Regularly spraying FHE in the barn creates a probiotic environment and a healthy indoor climate where it is more difficult for pathogens to develop. In addition, spraying milking equipment with FHE after cleaning and disinfection populates the surfaces with a probiotic microbiology that can help to prevent infections.

The preventive use of FHE is a simple and natural way of supporting the animals’ immune system and preventing mastitis and other infections by creating a healthy indoor climate.
