Three cheers for fewer attacks!

Multikraft technology significantly reduces the severity of mildew attacks on Persian buttercups (Ranunculus asiaticus).

The Persian buttercup prefers slightly damp soil conditions. For this reason, the plant is often subject to mildew attacks.

Which plant strengtheners are most suitable for giving Ranunculus asiaticus the best possible protection? Researchers in the team headed by Hans-Peter Haas at the Weihenstephan trial facility in Triesdorf set out to answer this question.

The trial

The Ranunculus asiaticus varieties Sprinkles Orange und Magic Golden Yellow were divided into five test groups. The treatment with plant strengtheners was repeated three times.
