Alongside optimum feed conversion and increasing the daily weight gain, the main challenges include heat stress, cannibalism and gastro-intestinal disease, which can lead to increased costs, reduced growth and losses.

Fermented Herb Extract (FHE)

FHE is made from carefully selected organic herbs, natural multimicrobial preparations and organic sugar cane molasses using a gentle fermentation process.

It is added to the birds’ feed and is suitable for broilers, layers, turkeys and ducks.

Earlier laying

The experiences of users show that young birds begin laying earlier after being brought indoors. As the use of FHE in feed and as a spray in chicken houses reduces odours and emissions, this has a positive impact on the indoor climate and therefore on the well-being of the layers. Particularly in the winter, when the chicken houses cannot be ventilated as effectively and the birds spend more time indoors, a healthy probiotic indoor climate is especially important.
