Bring spring into your home with our creative DIY decorations made from cardboard rolls! You can make enchanting flower pendants with just a few materials. In our latest blog post, we show you step by step how you can easily make these colourful decorations yourself.
Cardboard rolls are an excellent craft material and therefore far too good for the waste paper bin. Because these rolls can be quickly transformed into effective DIY decorations. Here you can find out how to make flowers in just a few steps.
What you need for this:
1. colour the rings:
Paint the cardboard rings with bright colours. Let your imagination run wild and design your flowers to suit your taste. Whether pastel-coloured tulips or vibrant sunflowers - there are no limits to your creativity.
2. cut the cardboard rolls:
Once the cardboard rolls have dried, cut them into even rings, e.g. 1 cm. Depending on the desired size of your flower pendants, you can cut the rings larger or smaller.
3. assemble the flowers:
Place the cut rings on top of each other and fasten them together in the centre. The best way to do this is to simply glue them together with a hot glue gun. Alternatively, the flower can also be held together by pulling a string or ribbon through it.
4 Embellish the flower:
Add the finishing touch to your homemade flower pendants by gluing a wooden bead in the centre of the flower!
5. Hang up and enjoy:
Once the flower pendants are assembled, you can hang them on a branch, string or other suitable place. Admire your home-made spring decoration and enjoy the flowery atmosphere in your home!
The flower looks even more beautiful with additional roll pieces that are shortened by approx. 2 cm.
