Clear water in lined ponds

The build-up of large amounts of algae and cloudy water are among the most common problems in lined ponds and biotopes. This is the result of a high nutrient content, among other things. Multikraft pond products support natural cycles, promote plant growth, stabilise the ecological balance of the water and reduce the formation of algae. Application – Caring for your lined pond or biotope:

Experience shows that carrying out several consecutive treatments within the first year (four to five times per season) produces the best results. You can start using the products at any time of year, but it is best to begin in the spring.

INITIAL TREATMENT

From 5 °C water temperature, the earlier the better. Repeat treatment every 4 to 6 weeks, 4 to 5 times in total.	In case of turbidity or strong algae formation and water temperatures above 20 °C, the required amount is divided into 2 - 3 applications at intervals of approx. 10 days. Thereafter, repeat the treatment with the total amount 3 - 4 times every 4 - 6 weeks.	The treatment is ideally carried out after the last care measures and can be carried out up to a water temperature of approx. 5°C. After the first treatment, leave to rest over the winter. Repeat 3 - 4 times every 4 - 6 weeks in spring from a water temperature of at least 5 °C.

If the water temperature is above 20 °C, use only half the amount at first and add the other half after two weeks. Tip: stabilise the water quality with EM ceramic pipes

The use of EM ceramic pipes and Effective Microorganisms creates the ideal environment in the pond. Distribute the EM ceramic pipes together with EM 35-mm ceramic pipes in bags or on strings threaded in the filter, on the edges of the pond or in other areas where the water flows.
