Increase the fertility of the soil in flower and vegetable beds with Multikraft

The soil quality in a flower bed is influenced by the smallest living creatures, the microorganisms. If this system is disrupted by environmental influences, the plants can no longer grow without outside support. Effective Microorganisms that are added to the flower or vegetable bed promote the regenerative microorganisms in the soil and increase the soil fertility.

The benefits at a glance

  • Promoting root growth
  • Strengthening plants naturally
  • Nutrients can be absorbed more effectively and so the amount of fertiliser needed is reduced over the long term

More on the subject of plant strengthening

In both ordinary beds and raised beds, vegetables, herbs and flowers will enhance any garden. We give you hints on the best ways to create and care for your beds.

Step 1 – Preparing the soil

Preparing the soil is an important step in creating flower, vegetable and herb beds and raised beds. Watering will help the plants from the start.

Between 10 and 14 days before planting, work organic Bokashi Terra into the surface of the soil as the last layer and water with the Roots solution (Roots plus water) to make sure that the soil is completely moist. Depending on the condition of the soil, you can also add some high-quality earth (for example original organic black soil for raised beds and vegetables). If necessary, cover with a layer of mulch. A good supply of nutrients is particularly important in the case of plants and bushes that take a lot out of the soil.

Dosage for 100 m²:

  • 10 kg organic Bokashi Terra
  • 1 litre of Roots
  • 100 litres of water

Tip: Treatment in advance encourages the growth of weeds. These can be removed before you sow or plant, which means that the seedlings will have less competition from weeds and can grow stronger. In addition, the soil life will be strengthened.

Step 2 – Planting and watering

Make a small channel in the soil with your fingers and put the plants in. Then cover the soil with grass cuttings. This will protect the soil from strong sunshine and from drying out and will also act as a fertiliser for the young plants.

Dosage for 1 litre of water:

  • 10 ml of Roots
  • 1 litre of water

Water the newly installed plants with the mixture and make sure that the soil is completely moist.

TIP: If you add 10 g EM ceramic power (to 10 litres of water), it acts as an additional soil activator and fermentation aid and supports the plants’ natural defences.
