Effective cleaning with the eMC textile cleaner: removes odours, protects against dust mites and promotes a healthy indoor climate without damaging your furniture.
Using the right cleaner for upholstered furniture and mattresses is essential. Many of us don't even know how to clean these sensitive areas properly. Yet their cleanliness plays a major role, especially for allergy sufferers!
To clean mattresses and upholstered furniture thoroughly without damaging them, we recommend natural cleaners. Overly aggressive products can significantly shorten the lifespan of textiles, which is why we advise against using chlorine, phosphates and solvents. Our eMC® textile cleaner does not contain any of these ingredients and cleans sustainably using Effective Microorganisms. This makes it not only economical, but also water-saving and therefore environmentally friendly.
With the eMC® textile cleaner from Multikraft, you can achieve impressive results when cleaning your couch or mattress. The probiotic microorganisms it contains work faster than negative bacteria and remove their proteins and fats. As the probiotic microorganisms remain on the surfaces afterwards and become active again when new deposits appear, the cleanliness is maintained for longer.
For a long life, the mattress should be brushed and vacuumed on both sides every two months. The Multikraft cleaning agent for mattresses should be applied at least once a year as part of a deep clean. It should be noted that fresh stains should of course be removed immediately to avoid staining and strong odours.
Upholstered furniture such as your favourite armchair or couch is exposed to a lot of wear and tear: Stains from food and drink quickly appear, pets make themselves comfortable on it. With these 4 cleaning tips, you can ensure that your furniture not only looks like new, but is also hygienically clean in just a few steps.
If you have removable covers on your sofa or armchair, we recommend removing them regularly and putting them in the washing machine. Our textile cleaner can be used at 40 degrees Celsius. Caution: the textiles should not be washed too hot and should not be put in the tumble dryer - shrinkage and loss of colour may result!
The upholstered furniture can then be wiped with a damp, colourfast cloth - preferably with distilled water to avoid traces of limescale.
If the covers cannot be removed, we recommend vacuuming the furniture every 2-3 weeks. Many hoovers already have an upholstery nozzle, which should definitely be used, as otherwise the fabric can easily be pulled up.
Stubborn stains should always be treated immediately. However, normal hand soaps should be avoided as they leave greasy marks. You should also avoid rubbing, instead dabbing the stain to avoid making it even bigger.
